Carter's 1st Christmas

Santa Baby!

We took Carter to see Santa today...he didn't cry, but he didn't give his usual cheesy grin either. He was a little unsure and then he noticed the beard:)

7 Months!

I can't believe how quick the time flies. Carter turned 7 months old this week. We're having such a great time with him. He loves to blow bubbles, scream out loud and swim. He's a good eater, in fact he likes to feed himself. He loves to wait at the door and wave when Daddy comes home and he can say "mama" and "dada". We don't know if he's refering to us or not, but we're just going to say so.






He also loves to have his picture taken.

Carter's First Thanksgiving

For Carter's First Thanksgiving, we went to Jeremy's sister's house for the day and then visited some friends. It was great to be home to see everyone.

6 Months Old

I took Carter to the doctor on Friday for his 6 month check up and all is well! He weighs 17 pounds, 11 ounces and is 28 1/2 inches long! My 6 month old son is just about half my size already. I can't believe that he is as big as he is and how fast time is going by.

My Little Monkey

These were taken when we had Carter's 6 month pictures taken. He was originally going to be a banana, but he's growing so fast, that he grew right out of it. I think he looks pretty cute in the monkey costume, if I must say:)

Best Buds

Carter and Jeremy are best buddies. Whenever Jeremy is in the room, Carter just smiles big and giggles. When Jeremy isn't in the room and Carter is fussy, I just show him a picture of daddy and all of Carter's troubles fade away:)

I never knew that a child could bring such joy. You are such a blessing to me and I'm so lucky to have you. No matter how stressed or sad I am, your smile makes it all worth it!

5 Months Old

I'm so sorry that it has taken me so long to update Carter's blog. Things are finally getting settled here in Michigan and I actually have time to sit at the computer now. As you can see, Carter is getting big and he is such a happy baby. He's done so well with moving.....better than me!!!













Carter loves to laugh and smile and he loves the sound of his voice!










Here he is trying out veggies for the first time.....not his favorite. He loves the squash, carrots and sweet potatoes, but doesn't care for the green stuff.

Carter's First Vacation

We were invited by some friends of ours to rent a house in the Outer Banks for a week. We had such a good time! Carter was really great, however it was a very long car ride for him.





Carter was very happy the first few hours of the car ride and then he was ready to get out. I don't blame him, it was a LONG DRIVE!

Carter loves his cereal! He eats it twice a day now and next month we'll be starting with veggies.

4 Months Old!

I'm sorry that it's been so long since I've done a post. A lot has been going on in the last month. Jeremy got a promotion and we've been transferred to Auburn Hills, MI. Jeremy has already moved up there and Carter and I are still here in Toledo. We miraculously sold our house in one week and as soon as we find a place to live, Carter and I will be moving there too.

Carter is doing wonderful! I can't believe how much fun he is and I can't remember what my life was like without him. He had his 4 month check up yesterday and he weighs 15 pounds 2 ounces. He's 26 3/4 inches tall!! That's in the 95th percentile for his height! I wonder where he gets that from??

3 Months Old!

I can't believe my little boy is 3 months old today! He's been practicing rolling over and he finally did it last night!! I think Jeremy and I might have scared him with all of the excitement.
