Happy Birthday Carter!

I can't believe that you're one year old already. This past year has gone by so quickly. There isn't one day that goes by that I don't thank God for giving you to me. I feel so blessed to be your mom and I love you so much. I can't wait to see what new things you'll be doing over the next year and the fun that we'll have this summer. You've brought such joy into my life and I hope you know just how much I love you!

PRESENTS!

Carter is blessed to be so loved and he loves all of his presents! We put some away and we'll get one new one out a week for quite awhile. With all of these toys, he'll be asking Santa for batteries next Christmas:)

Carter's Birthday Party

We had Carter's Birthday Party on Saturday the 26th. We had about 40 people show up and it was a good time. Carter wanted nothing to do with getting his hands dirty but loved watching the kids open all of his presents.

Watching for squirrels

Carter loves to stand at the patio door and watch for squirrels. They come right up to the glass and stand up at the door and as you can see, Carter imitates. Unfortunately, he starts banging on the glass because he gets so excited and they get scared and run away, then he cries:(

Almost 1!

I can't believe that the little bundle that I brought home from the hospital just yesterday (so it seems), is going to be 1 in just a few days. I can't believe how quickly the time has flown. I have loved EVERY minute of it and feel so blessed to be Carter's mom.

1st visit to the park

We decided to take Carter to Olander Park in Sylvania the first nice day we had. We walked around the pond and then went to the playground. Carter enjoyed the park, he wasn't as crazy about the slide as I thought he would be.

As you can see, he LOVED the swings. He also liked the ducks, he actually says "duh" and then I make the "quack, quack" sound and he cracks up.
